Missing My Love
It is six months since my husband and I got married... I am missing him so much. It is hard to be away from each other especially that we just got married. While it is true that I am his wife... but I have this feeling that I WANT TO BE A WIFE to my husband. It is not enough that we are bound by the marriage contract... it is more important to live together to fulfill our vows.
Right now, I am done with my requirements. I already sent them to my husband and hopefully he receives it on Monday, June 25. There is not a day that I do not long to be with him. I cannot imagine one more day waking up without him by my side...
Marriage is all about being together and building a family... I feel it coming soon.

Things I Learned in Life
1. I learned that it’s easier to find a job when you have one ... and the same goes for a man!
2. I may never get along with my Mother the way I had hoped, but I can be the kind of Mother I wanted her to be—with my own children.
3. Being a Mother really is the hardest job in the world. So give yourself, and your Mom, a little credit!
4. You are not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others.—Wizard of Oz
5. Play with your kids! I mean, really get on the floor and roll around, dress the Barbies, and play hide and go seek. It will change your life!
6. Always choose to believe something good will happen!
7. Laugh at yourself.
8. Laugh with your kids.
9. Call in well to work. Tell your boss, “I am having such a good day, I would hate to ruin it by coming to work!”
10. Your first car should be a junker ... and same goes for your first man!
11. You never have a second chance to make a first impression.
12. Leave your relatives out of it!
13. The past is the past—leave it there!
14. Don’t worry about the future; live only for today.
15. If you don’t wear it, use it, drive it, or read it for more than a year—get rid of it.
16. If you expect people to let you down, they will.
17. Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right.—Henry Ford
18. Getting fired is God’s way of saying, “Get a new job.”
19. If he cheats on you, or hits you—he will do it again.
20. Do not stay in a bad relationship because you are scared to be alone. This goes for friendships, too.
21. Do not have fear—being afraid only attracts it to you that much faster.
22. Love for no reason at all!
23. Always smile at the Mother in the store line whose kid is throwing a tantrum. It could be you.
24. Do not judge people by their relatives. Judge people by their friends—they chose them!
25. Always buy what kids are selling.
26. Be nice to waiters and sales people.
27. Make every day a special occasion, and make special occasions nothing short of spectacular!
28. If he does not call you back, he is not interested. Be patient; there is someone out there who is perfect for you.
29. The laundry can wait.
30. Kiss and hug anyone who will let you.
31. Never skip breakfast.
32. Learn how to make the perfect martini.
33. Do not drink and drive!
34. Always say I love you first ... and last.
35. Never forget what it was like to be a child—this is one of the greatest gifts you can give you and your children.
36. If you don’t have anything nice to say—SHUT UP!
37. Sleep by the Christmas tree with your kids.
38. Be generous.
39. Learn to listen, I mean really listen.
40. Smile ... :)
41. Relax ... this, too, shall pass.
42. Always put on your makeup and fix your hair before you leave the house.
43. When you are angry at someone, think about all the things you love about them before you speak.
44. This is only your current situation. It will change.
45. Pay yourself first.
46. Wash your makeup off before you go to bed.
47. Do not feel guilty about taking a little time for yourself.
48. Take a lot of pictures.
49. Do not judge your body.
50. Love yourself.

Holding On
Marriage life is never without a problem... Just like any stages and faces of life, marriage life is as challenging or even more. It requires both parties to be patient and loving enough to withstand whatever crisis may arise.
The secret? Faith in God; the ultimate source of everybody's strength. Trials are but a grain of sand when offered to God. Its hard to be faithful to God when problems are at their peak but they are just trials to the relationships making it more lasting and meaningful.
Isnt it wonderful to surpass all the trials and still finding each other at their loving arms. It is important to stay positive and calm, focusing on solutions and avoid blaming each other. Each has their own responsibilities to keep each other uplifted during the seemingly endless trials.
Remember that God will never give anyone something that they won't be able to handle, so just HOLD ON and always remember your vows... "for better and for worse, til death do us part".

Love Before, Now and After
2 years ago, I met the man whom I'm going to say "yes, I do"; the man whom I'm going to spend my life with!
Life has become happier and more fulfilling since that time. It put meaning to my life realizing my purpose and my future vocation, that is to become a wife someday!
In a relationship, it is essential to look back at the humble beginnings... The simple hi's and smiles at each other's lips... how a simple stare could melt a heart at an instant... the simple chats of getting to know each other... the excitement of each new day brings... all because of the joy of being in-love!
At present, my husband and I enjoy reminiscing all the good old stuffs we have been together and it really helps a lot in keeping the relationship in harmony. Whenever we have a little argument, all we do is to look back and surely it softens every brick of walls in between us.
I love my husband now more than ever all because I loved him before and it will goes on forever.
Thank God for the gift of Love. He loved us FIRST!

When Love is Far
My husband and I had a long distance love affair before we got married. It was a challenging time for both of us for we made our best to overcome the trials and the struggles of being away from each other. And we did! It goes to show that having a long distance romance is possible. It can be win over through sincere love, optimism, hope, faith in God and most especially by trust.
Today, after 2 months of getting married we are still holding on to our vows and again away from each other for my husband needs to go back to his country working on my petition papers. Yes, we are again in a long distance love affair and yet getting stronger. For as long as we keep the faith and place God at the center of our relationship, nothing will be impossible. The heart can hear even the farthest beat of the heart it loves most. Faith is believing the unseen, feeling the love even in the absence of the other one and hoping beyond imagination.
In love, there is no distance far enough that the heart cannot feel.

Just a Little Bit of an Advise
Be cautious on what you say and do to your partner or even to the people around you. Words hurt, it can be forgiven but never forgotten...
Love that Lasts
I remember telling myself when I was still single that I am going to marry only the man I love. It was marked in my heart and with God's help I never find it hard to accomplish my dream. Although, I had gone through several relationships from which I learned and eventually became matured especially on how to handle relationships.
I thank God for all those experiences because they did not only taught me to become emotionally strong but most importantly they made my faith in God very strong. I learned to depend on God and my prayer life improved a hundred fold. I enjoyed every blessing I received out of my prayers and whenever trials hit me again I never fear because I know and I can feel God's presence in me. That is what real love is all about... God's love. We must first feel the wonderful experience of God's love. Only then, we can completely feel and appreciate other's love for us and be able to also share and demonstrate love to other people. The love that lasts for lifetime and beyond - that is God's love for us and it is never too impossible to have one too esp to our spouses as they are bound by the sacrament of matrimony and of God's love as well.
Enjoy loving! Its the most wonderful gift from our loving God.

The Art of Forgiving
Most often than not, couples experience disagreements and in some point or another these disagreements create barriers when left unresolved.
What does it take to say I AM SORRY? And what keeps someone from saying I FORGIVE YOU.
To forgive is an act of divinity that requires a person to be humble enough to grant forgiveness to the offense committed against him/ her. God commands us to forgive at once and it is not an emotion whether or mot we feel like forgiving or not but it is more of a decision and the will to obey God's command.
To forgive is an act of freeing ourselves from the burdens of hurts and guilts and allow us to be open to rebuild relationships otherwise there will be no peace at all.
So the next time somebody ask for our forgiveness let us be humble and loving enough to accept it. It is for our own advantage anyway. Remember to always CHOOSE TO FORGIVE.

Love the Marriage

This blog is all about my experiences as a new full-pledged wife and my
thoughts of how it is being married. I love to discover the life that awaits
me, being new to this stage of life. I hope to impart to all newly married couples
my experience, my discoveries... though I may sound as a neophyte but then I
will do my best to share my thoughts freely on this blog that are in a way sensible and
helpful enough to all newly married couples out there.
